Rubbish TownsI once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

Portsmouth has nice areasCorrection, a nice-ish bit. It also has Somers Town, Buckland, Portsea, Paulsgrove and Cosham. The only way I'd ever live there is if you bricked up all my windows and I was allowed to keep a pet alligator.
Then there's Guildhall Walk. Every single time I've been through there on a Friday night there's been some bloke facedown on the pavement with three bouncers standing on his head.
Classy place.
