Rubbish TownsI once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

oh the memories !Born and Bred in stockport, but moved away a number of years ago to down near cambridge,but on the odd visit back "Up North" to Stockport I have to agree with all of the sentiments mentioned. When you pull off the M60 it just feels a bit grimy and dirty, and the population are a cross between a meeting point for the Jeremy Kyle show participants, and the reject contestants from and early edition of Bullseye, all waiting for their chance to win a toaster from Argos, and half a caravan. Played football over many years in all the "Luxury Suburbs " mentioned, Adswood, Brinny, Reddish, all complete sh*tholes.
On a brighter note, spent many a happy time in the Emmigration on Hall st, Offerton, Tennants Extra and loose women, those were the days !
