I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

I live here.
Whilst there's a good pub culture and if you know where to look, you can find some very good live band venues (The Hop in particular being excellent), Saturday night is a little bit stabby at times.

It might be a shithole, but it's my shithole.

Me and my circle of friends won't go anywhere near the place. Or Cream, or the Gate. But for some reason they seem to love going into Faisal's. They must have a bloody death wish.
