Scars with historyYou've all got scars: they're nature's little reminders not to be so damned stupid next time. My favourite is the 1/4" round hole in the back of my right hand, created when I was 7 by my best friend putting a manure-covered gardening fork "away".

Picture the sceneover-excited older brother with new Swiss Army knife. Ever-willing younger brother holding out piece of paper for him to slice in half. Very impressive! So imagine them doing it again with half the size of paper. And half again. And half again. Until piece of paper is tiny and over-excited older brother inevitably misses.
I still have the long scar all the way down my right forefinger!
