Scars with historyYou've all got scars: they're nature's little reminders not to be so damned stupid next time. My favourite is the 1/4" round hole in the back of my right hand, created when I was 7 by my best friend putting a manure-covered gardening fork "away".

paper cutsmy fingers are covered in what look like thousands of little paper cuts. and no I dont have a job as a page turnability tester.
I got horribly bad rope burn all over my hands about 4-5 years ago and the secondary infection the followed caused a dermatitis that was already in my system to flare up and now my hands dry out with horrible regularity. Sometimes they become so dry they split open when I move them. hence the multitude of small cuts.
its lovely. honestly.
