Schadenfreude
There's nothing like administering first aid to cyclist who has just spanged into the back of a milk float when you have tears of laughter running down your face. The world is just one long episode of You've Been Framed - when have you laughed at the misfortune of others?

I saw this happen
only the other day...
I drove along my (very narrow, very car-lined) road and could see a cyclists' flashing light gradually becoming less in the distance. Suddenly the flashing light disappeared completely, then reappeared far nearer the floor than it had previously been and getting no closer than it previously was.
It was only as I arrived at the scene that I saw a pair of slightly miffed looking individuals sharing their attention between a crumpled bicycle and a damaged door. I refused the opportunity to chuckle... I cycle down the same road most days.
