As a former BMW owner (now cured)
I've been there and done that in the snow. At the first sign of ice, mine started behaving like fucking Bambi, going in every direction except the one you wanted - if it moved at all.
My wife, with her ratty little Corsa, would drive rings around me - all the while pissing herself laughing. Love, eh?
