My first week in Sydney, a driver on his mobile jumped a red light and almost ran me overI thought at the time "Oh, so it's not illegal in Australia". Turns out it is illegal, the man was just an arsehole.

An american friend of mine msn messaged me from her phoneshe told me she was driving. When I later told her how stupid it was to message me whilst driving her excuse which she though was perfectly fine......."Its only been illegal here a few months"
