On my very first day at school, aged around 5, I was told that if I went to the toilets I would have my flushed down them by older boys. And from that day forward, until the age of 16, I never used a school toilet.

Fact.

Even now, aged 37, I can go an entire day without having a piss.

Toilet Trauma
On my first day at big school I got into an awful palaver with a toilet door, not knowing whether to push or pull and then doing so on the hinge side of the door. I even drew scorn from a couple of bigger girls. From that day on I NEVER went to the toilet at school.

I mentioned this to a girl at college who nearly had a seizure. 5 years without dumping a school, it is kind of weird looking back...
