EDIT: Then I realised that it only really appeals to teenagers, and they won't be arsed to go to the theatre.

It also appeals to aging teenagerswho will drag their offspring to see it.
Like when I tried to get my 16-year-old cousin to watch My So-Called Life and she made me cringe by saying 'yeah, it's pretty good. It's a bit like Saved by the Bell'
