High School, US, 1978Yes, I'm a geezer.
Anyway, this was at the pinnacle of Saturday Night Live's popularity. Class officer elections, a vaguely goofy girl ran unopposed for class president. And lost. The winner was the write-in candidate Beldar Conehead.
We got a good chewing out over THAT one...

thanks to the Wonder Yearsand many films, my ideal time/place for going to school would have been Suburban USA, 1978. Looked ace in that grainy 8mm film.
