This is a question School Projects

MostlySunny wibbles, "When I was 11 I got an A for my study of shark nets - mostly because I handed it in cut out in the shape of a shark."

Do people do projects that don't involve google-cut-paste any more? What fine tat have you glued together for teacher?

Contour maps
Year...9 or something. Had to make a 3d contour map model (built up layers, different colours etc)...sounded a bit pointless, so I just found my brother's one, made four years earlier, and handed that in instead. Got half a mark less, and that from the same teacher too! Talk about inconsistent marking.

Metalwork Hypocrisy
During metalwork, a friend that was "chummy" with the teacher got something like 95% for a block of metal with 101 set holes drilled in it.
Rather than us all do it, we just handed the same one in for inspection.
It was quite interesting to see the variation in marks, depending on how much the teacher liked you.
One boy got less than 50%, was told to redo it, then showed the same on again and got 60%.
