I still don't understand the whole 'year x' thing...Basically, in secondary school I was in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th years...then I escaped :)

I understand it in primarywhich is lucky as I am a primary school teacher.
But I get lost in secondary school.
I know that year 1 = year 7, but they still have 6th form and upper 6th!
