School Projects
MostlySunny wibbles, "When I was 11 I got an A for my study of shark nets - mostly because I handed it in cut out in the shape of a shark."
Do people do projects that don't involve google-cut-paste any more? What fine tat have you glued together for teacher?

ooh!
I did something not completely dissimilar for my art gcse practical - I can't remember what the original artistic inspiration was (we had to have been inspired by an artist's style), but I ended up filling up a couple of buckets with some weird latex liquid which took an hour to set, making casts of my hands, which I then set into a painting, so they were 3d (peeling an orange i think). Great fun.

Did something similar as well
Used my sister's torso for a model (poor thing sat topless and covered in plastery goop in the cold house for an hour while the stuff dried), applied the result to a canvas and added a bit of paint. I think sis still has it somewhere.
