Do people do projects that don't involve google-cut-paste any more? What fine tat have you glued together for teacher?

In the late eightiesI went to a public school in Spain (Sierra Bernia in Alfaz Del Pi if anyone cares). I hated the school, everyone hated me, it was a really fun time of my life, but anyway.... We were given a project to do in history, write something about a great leader. I scrawled 750 or so words on Neil Kinnock. Alas Mrs Dolicher didn't get the joke and all the teachers decided I was somewhere to the left of Stalin for the rest of my time there.
I left school with one O level, which wasn't in history. I should go back to college and try again, I'm told it's easier nowadays.
