Cockbrush has reminded meOf my GCSE electronics project. It was meant to be a burglar alarm. It ended up being a black box with a button on the side. If you pressed the button then after two and a half minutes a small red light would come on, accompanied by a strong smell of burning.
I can quite clearly remember sitting at my desk with this... thing in front of me, the day before marking day, wondering where it all went wrong.
