I can attest to thisA mate of mine lived in Croydon and commuted into London - according to him everyone there thinks no-one visits Croydon because of it's dangerous reputation, when in fact no-one visits Croydon because it's a shithole.

At one stage there were 5 separateMcdonalds outlets dotted around the shopping centre bit of Croydon and the station. This tells you most of what you need to know.
