Couldn't you have asked him for the specifics, before wasting your time on doing it wrong?I constantly have to deal with customers who don't have the faintest idea what they want and what is realistically achievable.
If I just went ahead and gave them what I thought they wanted instead of what they really wanted we'd never get anything done.
