Danger..As a young man, you are in the group that is most likely to be violently attacked by far. From my own (ex) career as a drunken young man I would give one piece of advice - take taxis. Almost every casualty visit starts with a 'I was so twatted. On the walk home (5 mins) this lad yelled at me and asked for a light etc etc etc' - repeat until sutured
