I can relate....Being married to a German lass myself, I quite literally fell about laughing when I first saw it - I had to tell Mrs. R about it very quickly, as I couldn't believe some of the coincidences. The movies bit in particular, and the house plants, or a dozen other things. So, yeah, I can relate to this one a lot :)
I always enjoy re-reading it mind!
