IndeedI've raised this point in conversation many times. I've never had one woman agree with it or even be able see the double standard.
Testosterone fuelled idiots who let their anger/lust get the better of them should always be held fully responsible for their actions, the same should apply to women and using PMS as a defence is not acceptable.
There are allowances made in law for extreme provocation or in retaliation to abuse. These measures are enough and should apply to both sexes equally.
