My little bro.We really didn't get on as teenagers. To the point where we didn't speak directly to each other unless we absolutely had to for a couple of years, even though we were both still living at my parents. One day he asked me about something (I can't remember what) and I said to him "What do you care? You don't even like me". His reply was "You're my sister and I love you, of course I care what happens to you". I was completely shocked and moved, and more than a little bit embarrassed that my younger brother was so much more mature than I was. It might not sound like much but considering how bad our relationship was at the time it was a pretty spectacular thing for him to say.
We get on brilliantly now and I'd always turn to him if I had any problems.
