This is a question Silly Achievements

Happy Phantom writes, "Sometimes - by planning or happy accident - you achieve something with which you are quite pleased, but which makes little or no difference to the rest of the world.

"This morning, I woke up and spontaneously farted the opening three notes from The Frog Chorus."

What did YOU do?

I got a letter published in the Transformers comic.
Issue ninety-something, it had Jetfire on the cover.

Had to chase the cunts to send me my mini-Autobot, though.

Nice.
Which mini-Autobot did you get?
(, Mon 20 Oct 2014, 20:14, closed)
Tailgate.
I didn't get a choice.

Ah, hang on you've changed your username
Fairly sure we've talked about this before

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we have.
The Hedgehog From Hell account was suspended because of some high-jinks (which, hilariously, I had nothing to do with). I could always go begging for it back, but since all my images were on b3tards it'd just be a sea of redexes anyway, so there doesn't seem much point.

Aha, thought so - good to know you're still about, hope you're well
(FWIW it was issue #93 and though Jetfire features heavily in the story it actually has Galvatron on the cover, which is why it took me a while to realise)

Was it the Christmas issue?
I still have it upstairs somewhere, but I couldn't be arsed digging it out to check the details. And I knew you'd have the relevant information to hand.

Yep, Christmas 1986
Which suddenly feels like a very long time ago now :(

^as you pair are obviously a pair of long time Transformers geeks (or should that be 'Trannies' for short)
I would be interested to hear your opinion of the Michael Bay movies from a fan's perspective.

Because from a moviegoer's perspective (i.e - me) I think they're fucking wank.

I saw the first one. It was fucking wank.
Didn't bother with any of the rest of them.

The first one is a bit of a guilty pleasure (though that "hide and seek" scene makes me cringe)
The second and third ones are mostly incomprehensible even to a long time "Tranny" and I don't think I've seen either more than twice. I just watched the fourth one and if it was edited down to a reasonable length (like 90 minutes) I'd say it was probably the best one yet, but it's overlong and bloated with far too many unnecessary subplots that don't really go anywhere. I heard one reviewer say you could easily split it into two separate movies, which I think I'd prefer.
