This is a question Real-life slapstick

Fact: When someone walks into a lamp-post it makes a very satisfying and hugely hilarious "Ding!" noise. However, it is not quite so funny when the post is in the middle of town and you are the victim. Tell us about hilarious prat-falls.

Thanks to Bob Todd for the suggestion

This was'nt in Halifax by any chance was it?
We've got a rooftop club called 'Maine Street' - it's a duplicate of a New Orleans street, whereas every 'house' is a seperate bar.

It has mirrors at the end of the 'road' in order to make it look longer, I worked there for many years, starting behind the bar, cleaning the place, and playing the tunes before leaving.

One thing that I saw on a very regular basis, was many impressions of peoples faces on the floor to roof mirror.

Some of the impressions were hilarious, mainly foreheads, but some we scarily detailed - I once saw an impression of a guys face, including his eyebrows, fringe, cheeks, the lot on these mirrors, his nose was a bit squashed to one side though, but he must have hit that wall at some pace to leave such a clean 'cast' on the glass.
