Next door to the Stoke Makro store was/is an animal feed factory, Bocm Pauls. It made the car park stink of death and turn your stomach as you arrive. How Makro itself smelled worse once you entered is almost impressive.
And why have we got this far through qotw without someone posting "and I thought that they smelled bad on the outside"?
