I remember that...back in 2005. And he appeared on many many different forums. There was a huge trail. I remember spending a few bored afternoons following all kinds of trails after this guy.
Ultimately it was clear he was just yet another Internet fantasist combined with some level of mental illness and paranoia.

Edit: Eeek!! He is still out there. A web search on his email address shows up a 2013 post on a TEFL forum...
