Social Media Meltdowns
Ever said something you've regretted on the internet? Seen somebody make an arse of themselves? Know somebody who posts first and asks questions later? Dob them in to us, the internet police. (We last did this five years ago before Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook really took off, so now's the time for an update)
Thanks to Benny Blanco from the Bronx for the suggestion

"Some People Are Too Stupid To Live"
Began the facebook post of someone in my feed, as he posted a link to a news story about Ann Coulter refusing to board a plane with a black pilot.
In come the replies gently pointing out the fact he'd linked to a post off the Daily Currant and that she does in fact have a black boyfriend.
Ok maybe not a 'meltdown' but the irony of that first sentence gave me a good chuckle.

Judging by the way you've said 'septics'
I believe libel is different in the US than it is the UK, where in the UK the person being held as libel has to prove what he or she has said is true in order to get out of it, whereas in the US the 'victim' (for want of a better term) has to prove what that person said is not true, in order to file a claim for libel??
Could be wrong here...
Also I could imagine (more so if the above is indeed correct) that if someone were to pursue a satirical story like this against them it could hurt their public image and be seen (or at least spun enough to be seen) as a case of 'sour grapes' so would be best left alone and taken with the pinch of salt???
