My brother went to France on a school trip. When he returned he had bought me Rat Race/Rude Boys Outta Jail on a French picture sleeve - I think marked with the Chrysalis Records logo more prominent than 2-Tone.
It was my very own French import - doesn't seem much by today's standards, but to me, a record from a foreign country such as France was gold dust. I'd been to the Isle of Man, but never overseas.
I still have it in the loft somewhere. I'll try and get it down and give it a blast on my 45/33rpm player.
I feel sad though now, for my lost youth I would love to regain!
