Pixie Pixie, by Silver Sun. I waited 13 years to see them live, and this was/is my favourite song. For the first and only time they opened their set with it at the Camden Barfly. I was transported!

New York, New York, by Ryan Adams. Because, just because.

...to The New Pornographers. My favourite and most played song of all time, no less. In fact, I suspect my incessant rambling about it on t'other forum might've been responsible for introducing you to it?

Sorry, it was a friend off the Silver Sun forum. You should check out Dad's Weird Dream, their last, hardly publicised album. It brims with wonderful pop songs!
