I thinkthat the people that we need to worry about 'sponging' are the military advisers and major corporations in just about every country. A much larger portion of tax payers money goes missing due to tax cuts for the fuckers, and stocking up of nuclear fireheads when we already have enough. The Iraq war was a bit of spongefest too, LOLZ.
Yeah, we could limit the welfare state, like in America. That sounds like it would work. I'm no going to go on about the difficulties faced by most of my female friends (I'm at Uni but grew up in a council estate) but can I say it is really, really hard being one of the 'undesirables'.

I thinkthat even if you do get taxpayers money, it's still possible to be greatful. Being an "undesirable" isn't necessarily true. you choose what to do as you have proved by going to University. I grew up on benefits and have never wanted for nothing, my parents saved for everything they bought, and never wasted money on holidays, booze or fags. I went to a decent school and Uni despite growing up on a housing estate.
