Err...He probably changed after the Boer war, you know what those wars are like for changing people's perceptions on life.
I agree with your post btw, I do think people who have worked hard to get what they have are A-ok. I just hate ungrateful people of any social standing and I don't know if you're being satirical when you use Communist accusingly. Lets face it it's not an insult it's just a different form of government and economy and with the current economic state it looks like the path most of the Western world has taken regarding the economy is laughable.
