Meh
I learned that competitiveness is rarely something to be celebrated. This works in all aspects of my life. I'm bored witless watching sports because I don't care who wins. I'm not the greatest at competitive stuff within work either because I just do a job and I still don't care if I win.
Further to this, I find people with that competitive streak in them to be very irritating.
When asked to come up with a mission statement once I responded with
"Because 2nd place is quite acceptable".
It got me a laugh but wasn't taken up for some reason.

I have a philosophical aversion to competition
as well. But I'm not at all certain that I'm not making a virtue of a necessity.
I have never read a mission statement that didn't make me laugh in derision or spew in disgust.
