I'd love to say
my parents moved to escape Stalker Boy, but they were doing it to be nearer my ailing grandparents. I just think escaping Stalker Boy is a bonus... he threw a shitfit when we put the house on the market and rejoiced every time a sale fell through, saying "Ooh, you'll escape from here one day, dear...". And his mum insisted we take the house off the market and stay, repeatedly.

Unfortunately, his mum and my mum remain friends to this day, though I have instructed her that his extended clan is NOT to be invited to my wedding under any circumstances. His younger brother (who thinks he's a twunt; they've never got on) came for a UCAS day at my uni last week so I went to ground for the day.
