Some peopleAre very, very insecure.
Personally if I even considered looking into someone's messages or emails I'd wonder if a)I was losing it or b)they were the right one for me.
If you really care about someone (friend or lover) then you surely give them privacy...in other words you ensure they tell you EVERYTHING! Mwahahahahahahaha!*
*I'm kidding about the last bit, obviously...ahem...
