I gave my missus the benefit of the doubt and never once checked up on her even when it was blatantly obvious she was having an affair. It takes a while, but knowing you did things the right way eventually feels better than snooping on folk. Makes them all the more of a twat for breaking trust too.... it might be cold and lonesome on the moral high ground, but it's a lot easier to throw shit from up here lol.
