I was...once roped into a scientology thing with a friend of mine. I excused myself to go to the loo halfway through and didn't come back.
It's a shame I didn't get to see their faces when they saw that all the surfaces in the women's toilets had pictures of tom cruise taking an alien up the arse in a permanent marker. One of my finest hours.
