There are a variety of them, but you'll find a lot of sad acts on /talk too.

AB's archive provides a vital function in highlighting some delusional nutjobs (and it's good reading). There are a lot of people who just wanna be involved, but have nothing really to say.

WBM/Roger is a weapons grade loony though, she's far more bonkers than most... she's way ahead of the tedious, the liars, the urban-legend pitchers and the foolish.

It ain't (to the best of my knowledge)

She was here for years as WBM, photies up and everything - all consistent, and she was a nice lady.
Then she paid someone here's mortgage for several months for him, the she went nuts.

Roger was invented as a new persona, and she wrote it from "his" perspective. This is why it's inconsistent...

Anyway, sorry for the misunderstanding.

Can never say for certain, but someone so single mindedly determined to wind people up has to be suspect. Has all the hallmarks - female, foreign (to most of this board), nuts. All nice hooks for a troll to cast into the waters.

The fact she suddenly changed might just mean she was real, but then gave up her account to someone else. Have seen it happen.

It's not actually a bad thing. If it's done well and doesn't become destructive it can liven a board up immensely.

A fugly south african went mental a few years ago
in a slightly scary "Enduring Love" sort of way. She stalked a few regulars (including phoning up my employer and conning them into giving her my work mobile number) convinced that we were all in love with her.

I believe she still holds the record for the highest number of banned accounts - it was into three figures. I think cr3 eventually re-coded the moderators' view of the board so that it highlighted south africans for easy insta-banning.
