Interesting last comment, and I agree with the concept. I worked with a girl once who was as dumb as a box of hammers. We never took the piss out of her because she was such a joy to be with. One of life's lovely and lucky people who will always be happy and always bring happiness. Bless her.

i like the fact that
(to me anyway) the qotw title of stoopid colleagues sounds a bit negative, but there is the good/fun/innocent side to stupid too (as opposed to 'I am all-powerful and all-knowing; my colleague is dumb)
Maybe thats just how I read it

Yeah, it's nice to recognise different gifts.
A few of my friends who are a bit dim are the kindest people you will ever know. Smarts doesn't always equate good friendship.

I had a colleague like this. Dappy, easily confused, occasionally unintentionally frank but always lovely to be around, usually happy and thoroughly well-meaning. Bless her.
