Godwin's Lawyer tells us: "I once worked with a lad who believed 'Frankenstein' was based on a true story, and that the book was written by Shirley Bassey." Tell us about your workplace dopes.

Idiot schoolteachers
The teachers in my school just sat through an hour-long, text-heavy, death-by-powerpoint lecture by a leading school dumbass on how we should not be teaching the kids by using long, text heavy, death-by....well, you get the idea.

I click because
Universities have these idiots now too.
They insist they can teach us how to teach, but they're clearly terrible at it themselves. Drives me insane.

I was once told
'never explain something to a child and follow it with "do you understand"'.
So I asked what you could say instead as you do still need to check understanding.
So the lecturer lady went through a couple of scenarios with me and at the end said 'do you understand'.
The irony was not lost on us.
