Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "My dad's friend told us there's no such thing as gravity - it's just the weight of air holding us down". Tell us of times you've been floored by abject stupidity. "Whenever I read the Daily Express" is not a valid answer.

well, you see...
there was once a boy who was failing school. He was smart and understood what was being taught, but was unmotivated.
In desperation his parents enrolled him at a Catholic school. The first night he was quiet, then went to his room after dinner to do homework. He did this all year, and at the end of term had all As.
His parents were overjoyed. What made the difference? Different teaching style? The nuns?
"No. The first day I was there I saw the guy they had nailed to the plus sign and knew they meant business!"
