Depends where in EgyptCould be one of the beach resorts on the Sharm-el-Sheik side, just spent a week windsurfing in one of them, the only times we left the hotel were to get cheaper water from the shops in the town, and a 2 hour drive to mount Sinai to watch the sunrise from the top (I recommend doing it, I do not recommend jumping on a windsurfing board as soon as you get back, especially if you have a history of back problems and spent the minibus journey back in the most uncomfortable sleeping position possible)
EDIT: Just to not look like a complete philistine, I have been to Luxor, and seen as much as possible of the places around there (all well worth a visit, though memory fades as to any specifics at the moment), and really want to go back, and to see the pyramids etc. around Cairo
