This is a question Amazing displays of ignorance

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "My dad's friend told us there's no such thing as gravity - it's just the weight of air holding us down". Tell us of times you've been floored by abject stupidity. "Whenever I read the Daily Express" is not a valid answer.

I don't think any of us do.
It should be Summer, Summer, Summer and Spring for when we get fed up of the heat.

There's an order?
I thought it was just an alternation between "icy winter" and "wet winter", with the wet one lasting for about 3/4 of the year.

(UK, obviously)

Well, what IS the right order?
I reckon it's Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, but my mate is convinced it's Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn.

you're missing the point
he didnt know what ORDER the seasons went in, whether or not spring follows winter or autumn comes after summer etc
