fridgeShe(?) Is not as stupid as you think. The compressor at the arse end of the fridge does work better at a certain temperature ie it will make the fridge work more efficiently once it reaches that temp.
In addition - all your cold stuff would have warmed up, so allowing a little time would have helped.
Perhaps less of jumping down peoples throats and it may have not been an x x x x
