Whilst I am in no way trying to defend the OP or suggest this is real.
"Do you want to press charges?"
"No."
Probably ends the police involvement.
It's not unheard of for police to be called to a drinking establishment only to be told the trouble is over or the remaining injured don't want to take matters further.
