AhYou know it? Yeah it's not the sort of place you want to get caught in after dark and have heard of load of muggings for bikes, skateboards and in-line skates around there....Luckily no bum rapes yet.

sspent a fair bit of time therewhen i was in the 'ding.
not bad, but nowhere near as sketchy as the one by the river in whitley.

I live a stones throw from there..in Caversham. Can't say I've ever encountered any trouble though, aside from some backchat from chavvies using Reading bridge as an impromptu diving board in the summertime.
