never more than 3 grand..although up to that much isnt very rare. all of my cars (most expensive = £1k) mountain bikes (£3k on one, £5k on 1K bikes aside from that) and other stuff is bought in cash. used to help cash up at places i've worked, so seen a bit more too..
not very exciting. sorry.
