My mother grew tired of telling me
to get my lazy arse out of bed. After the 3rd time I'd said I'd be up in 2 minutes she strolled into my bedroom and emptied a bucket of cold water on me.

I always got up first time after that.

We did that to my brother
but with a cold flannel we left in the freezer for a while.
