This is a question Thrown away: The stuff you loved and lost.

Smash Wogan writes, "we all love our Mums, but we all know that Mums can be cunts, throwing out our carefully hoarded crap that we know is going to be worth millions some day."

What priceless junk have you lost because someone just threw it out?

Zero points for "all my porn". Unless it was particularly good porn...

^^ I agree
A child's Lego is sacrosanct... even when you grow up & leave home. Parents should sign a contract when they buy Lego for a child, to not ever throw it away without the child's say-so.

Thankfully, my parents (god bless them) haven't thrown out my old lego. Visiting with my folks a year ago, we pulled it out for some visiting young kids to play with. It still has my (& my brother's) toothmarks, drool & encrusted grime from nearly 30 years ago.

I wouldn't touch the filthy stuff now, but I'll be damned if I let them throw it out. To me it's utterly priceless & completely irreplaceable.
