@ViprosWhilst you are entirely correct, I have to say that my Star Wars figures were, for a good year or two, the most important thing in my privileged little life and I would probably have sold my entire family into slavery for a full set.
However in my case I then went off them and flogged the lot to fellow pupils because I wanted the next new thing - skateboards or something.
However, my 2000ADs are another matter...
