I went to a Public Schoolwhere we had to wear shorts all year round for the first two years - a) it toughened you up a lot a, b) knees are cheaper and heal better than trousers when you play football at lunchtime.
If you went to a comprehensive/school where the other kids didn't dress like this, however, then you are definitely being marked as a target....
